IMAGE CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES

  • Create a platform that allows us to communicate with the community, the government and all relevant stakeholders
  • Celebrate and boost the morale of Australia's Aged Care Professionals
  • Counteract the negative image of aged care that has been fostered by the popular media
  • Promote aged care as a viable and attractive career choice to prospective employees

ACSA conducted research to understand how the aged care industry is perceived by key stakeholders developing This campaign and found that:

  • Aged care is considered to be of critical importance to society
  • Consumers and the general public have a generally positive image of the aged care industry
  • 9 out of 10 consumers are satisfied with the services they receive
  • Aged care staff believe, that consumers and the general public have a negative image of the aged care industry.
