IMAGE CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES

Create a platform that allows us to communicate with the community, the government and all relevant stakeholders
Celebrate and boost the morale of Australia's Aged Care Professionals
Counteract the negative image of aged care that has been fostered by the popular media
Promote aged care as a viable and attractive career choice to prospective employees

ACSA conducted research to understand how the aged care industry is perceived by key stakeholders developing This campaign and found that:

Aged care is considered to be of critical importance to society
Consumers and the general public have a generally positive image of the aged care industry
9 out of 10 consumers are satisfied with the services they receive
Aged care staff believe, that consumers and the general public have a negative image of the aged care industry.
