The National Report - Issue 230 - Federal Budget
Tonight's Federal Budget affirmed the Government's previous announcement of $739 million for aged care over 4 years and made some other provisions for our industry bringing the total aged care funding to $907.5 million. Each year as an industry we hope and hold our collective breath in anticipation of funding to match the cost of the services and accommodation we provide. Yet again this year we have been disappointed.
