Palliative Care Sub Group Added to Expert Ageing Advisory Group: Since the PC Aged Care Reform Update of 26 October, a Palliative Care Sub Group has been added to the Expert Ageing Advisory Group’s list of five sub groups because it was seen as a critical area. The other groups are: Quality of Care; Workforce; Wellness Approach; Financing, Care and Accommodation; and Assessment, Choice and Consumer Oriented Care.

At today’s Annual General Meeting, Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA) elected a new president, ACSA National Board Member, Rob Hankins. Rob replaces Klaus Zimmerman who served four years as National President.
