Aged and Community Services Australia, supported by Thomson Adsett , has profiled 20 housing models in Australia and abroad as a way of informing ACSA members about contemporary and innovative housing models for older people.
Each property was assessed against the following criteria.

ACSA hopes this resource will support industry members to learn about best practice models across the world and develop new housing options that fit local needs. ACSA has selected a range of projects that showcase different elements such as environmental sustainability, community engagement strategies and innovative strategies to support ageing in place. The selection of the projects was assisted by some preliminary research ACSA undertook with industry leaders.
